DIY Makeup Remover Recipes for Busy Women



Cleaning your face from makeup is a routine that must be done in order to maintain cleanliness and avoid problems with facial skin. Every day makeup, dirt, oil, and dust on the face should be cleaned every time you finish your activities or when you are going to rest at night.

1. Makeup Remover Wipes

Actually, the use of makeup remover wipes are not recommended to be used every day. The function of using this makeup remover wipe is to help your face stay clean even though you have gone through a lot of activities throughout the day.


One ingredient that you can use is coconut oil which is suitable for all skin types. The function of the coconut oil is to moisturize the skin, it also has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties.


So for the creation process:

Firstly, you have to prepare the necessary materials such as rolls of paper tissue, scissors, one clean plastic bag, a container that can be closed, two tablespoons of coconut oil, two cups of water and one to two drops of face soap with liquid texture. After that, begin by cutting a piece of paper tissue into two parts using scissors, right in the middle.


Secondly, add water, coconut oil and face soap into a bowl. Then, put it in the microwave for 20 seconds. When done, shake the ingredients until they are well blended. Next, fill the prepared container with half the mixture, then place the paper tissue into the container, and adjust the size so that it is easily taken. After that, cover the container and turn the tissue over so that the liquid absorbs into the tissue completely.


Thirdly, after the entire tissue has absorbed the mixture, pour more mixture into the container. You can store it at room temperature or in a dry place.


2. Makeup Remover Liquid

With just two ingredients, you can get your makeup remover liquid without having to spend more budget than what you have. One of the ingredients that is most often used for makeup removers is jojoba oil which is produced from shrub seeds from desert, gold in color, and not scented as well as a high moisturizing characteristics.


Jojoba oil tend to be antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and will not clog pores even though it has high humidity. This is why Jojoba oil can be suitable for all skin types – both oily and dry.


In addition, another ingredients that are easily accessible are those that contains vitamin E because they have moisture and antioxidant characteristics that are very good for your skin. The ingredients needed are a quarter cup of jojoba oil, one capsule of vitamin E, a dark glass container, and cotton balls.
