Perfect Skincare Routine for Teenagers

Adolescence year or your teenage year is the most active period of all, it’s where we are preoccupied with various activities such as school, college or other additional activities. From these activities, it will not excuse you from the possibility of going outdoors, or being exposed to sunlight which could indirectly make our skin look dull. So, for those of you who are in their teens, it is advised for you to use Skincare so that your skin is maintained. A regular use of Skincare also minimizes the appearance of pimples or other facial problems.


But the real question is, what kind of Skincare should you use? Don't worry, we will summarize the sequence of Skincare routine that is suitable for you.




1. Facial Wash

Facial wash is the first thing that you really need to use. Because after you do any activities - be it indoor or outdoor activities, your facial skin will look dull because it has not been washed. Washing your face with a facial wash will produce better results than just using water alone. Not only that, the use of facial wash can also make your face look cleaner. There are also many variants of facial wash, so it's up to you to use a facial wash from where, as long as it suits your skin.



2. Moisturizer

Moisturizers are useful for moisturizing the skin. The use of a moisturizer can reduce the dryness of your skin. So, if you are in a winter weather, using a moisturizer can help reducing the occurrence of exfoliation. Moreover, the use of moisturizer is very suitable to use before applying powder.



3. Sunscreen

Sunscreen is basically the same with sunblock, but it is specialized for facial use. Sunscreen contains SPF which can protect your face from the sun, so even if you are doing outdoor activities, your face will remain protected. Moreover, it can prevent and reduce the occurrence of brownish skin. The higher the SPF level, the more protected your face will be. SPF use can last up to 8 hours, so try to use it in the morning when you will start the activity.



4. Toner

A toner is the liquid that you can use to clean your face. Doing outdoor activities will certainly make your skin look dull. By dripping toner onto the cotton and rubbing it to your face, the dirt on your face will be lifted. Besides that, toner can also be used to remove the remaining make up on your face. Using toner regularly will remove dirt on your face. You can also just use it once a day, for example in the afternoon only.



5. Facial Scrub Wash

Similar to facial wash, the difference is that this facial scrub wash contains quite coarse grains or that when you use a scrub to wash your face it will feel something like sand. This scrub is more cleansing than a regular facial wash. However, this facial scrubs cannot be used every day, because it will make your skin thinner – if you have acne it is not recommended to use a scrub. You can use this scrub for 2-3 times a week.



6. Day and Night Cream

For those of you who are still teenagers, actually the use of day or night cream is not really needed, you just need to use it when you really need it. Day and night cream – depending on the needs of each skin – can be useful such as to brighten the skin or fade acnes. For the use, as the name implies, day cream means for the morning, while night cream is for the night use.



7. Serum

The use of this serum is for those of you who want your facial skin bright. This serum usually contains vitamin C or vitamin E. The serum can be used at night before you go to sleep, so that the next day your face will look glowing.
